Quotes and Stuff

Good morning Peace Seeker!

I have found my peace once again in my art studio. This not so little project began in the summer of my purge. My kitchen got it first, then the pantry and the laundry area, then the living room and finally Rainy’s old room which took the longest but on Saturday we built the rails/frame for the bed and moved in and it was wonderful. My wrought iron dream bed is up and the room is minimalist and comfy cozy at the same time.

On Sunday with our king size bed out of our room, I emptied Narnia and moved it to the bedroom that now houses Sky’s old double bed, our chest of drawers, two super skinny wardrobes, a desk and a table I purged from the studio too.

Everything is in total disarray back there but I have a plan and I will put it into motion after a short break. My studio took 3 days but not full days. On Sunday I didn’t even begin on Narnia until after 1pm and on Monday we went Thanksgiving shopping and then I had to make lunch and then we went back out Monday evening but Tuesday I didn’t leave the house and beginning at 9:15am I tackled the studio, made bread, and did the laundry. I finished the studio last evening at 7! So I probably put 18 hours (give or take) into it and they were worth it!

I took on a great big challenge and so far so good. I’m actually looking forward to the bedroom now and how it will turn out!!
