Once upon a time there was a girl who danced to the beat of her own tambourine

Once upon a time there was a girl who danced to the beat of her own tambourine. She played hide and seek with Peace confident she knew where to look to find it. She wore her hair in long braids that swirled like Maypole flags when she danced in the rain and puddle jumped. She hugged people, pets and trees and had spontaneous bursts of childlike enthusiasm. She wore her heart on her sleeve, flowers in her hair and had stars in her eyes and more than once she cried for the animals, for the world, for the lonely. She never gave up hope, not ever, not even when her own dreams were crushed and her feelings hurt. She created art everyday and listened to music letting the rhythm sooth the weary soul. She loved you without you even being aware and you may not notice when she left the room but soon you would feel it. She’s like that and I want to be just like her.

It’s not Friday and this isn’t a free verse hippie poem, it’s just a story, a wish, a zine in the making or maybe a manifestation? Or maybe it is what it is…something inside my mind and heart that needed to be expressed this morning for whatever reason.

So, I hope you have a beautiful day my friend and I hope you will stop back by again tomorrow!! Much Peace Love Art 😀
