Sparky got his gallbladder removed today. It was an event! The nurse was mad until I asked her if she was mad then she was nice…to us 😀
She was mad because the guy who was suppose to prep Sparky for surgery dropped the ball watching tv instead! He was nice though. I liked them both actually. But all went well. He’s home. In pain, but at least he’s home. He had a gallstone the size of a golf ball. His gallbladder is being donated to science.
We were up by 4am. I did sun salutations then got ready. We left for the hospital. He couldn’t eat so I didn’t eat either. At hospital by 5:30 and home by 11am. Got a very groggy Wayne into his chair, started the first load of laundry and left for the pharmacy for pain meds and store for cat food.
Home, preheated oven, called his mom, took a shower, put laundry in the dryer, started lunch. Did dishes after we ate I folded laundry, started a second load, talked to my mom, practiced yoga for an hour and a half, got Wayne (Sparky) some ice cream after his nap, made more coffee, ate some jello, checked my 70 emails, visited Facebook, opened a gift I was sent by a beautiful person who bought from me!! It was a nice surprise after such a crazy busy day. And now here I am. Soon I ‘ll make dinner and do dishes and…just…chill…and won’t that be nice?
Have a beautiful evening my friend and try to stop by again tomorrow!! Much Peace Love Art 😀
